A place if you're just starting out and looking for experience.

Sad excuse for leadership. 0 collaboration. Decisions are made in a vacuum and company direction seems to change on a quarterly basis. You cannot speak up without fear of retaliation or intimidation. No opportunities for compensation increase, career growth, or personal development. Diversity, equity, and inclusion is a joke. No wonder retention suffers. Strictly a mediocre paycheck.

I want to thank you for taking the time to review LoadUp. No way to really sugarcoat this one, it’s a pretty brutal review. Having said that, I can’t say that I agree with all of the points you’ve made here. To address your review I’ll start with the pros you’ve listed: Pros: Thank you for listing a pro here and I do agree with you that we provide a number of roles that are entry-level and provide great first-time experience for a number of folks. However, there are far more pros not listed here. A few examples would include that we are fully remote and offer a lot of work/life flexibility. We recently launched a company incentive program that rewards all employees based on our company-wide goals with incentives like additional PTO, a company-wide Holiday, and a company-wide destination vacation to name a few. We’re also a fast-growing company with advancement opportunities. Cons: Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and perception of the company as well as Leadership. Noted in your comment that we’re not what you were hoping for. I would like to address a number of the cons you’ve listed here as some hold weight and some are inaccurate. Decisions- Without specific examples listed it sounds like there may be confusion between a company direction change and departmental direction change. In regard to the company direction, we’ve not changed our mission or vision for the company since we started these 5 years ago, our goal is to be the world’s largest non-franchised junk removal company, and that's still the case today. Having said that, I will absolutely uphold that departmental direction change specifically in our operations group has occurred and has caused a really bumpy first half of this year in our ops group specifically. I take personal responsibility for this as the decisions to change were made by myself and senior leadership. Having said that, change is necessary in order to grow, ideally, we would have gotten everything perfect on the first go round, but unforeseen circumstances changed the landscape of our plan and we, therefore, had to deviate from the original plan in a short period of time. This caused the optics of instability in the operations department. Having said that, we’ve implemented our game plan and are moving forward with a new structure that will create long-term stability as well as scalability for the operations group and company at large. Retaliation/Intimidation- I’m sort of at a loss on this one. This certainly didn’t happen with me specifically so I’m very curious as to the origin of whatever retaliation/intimidation occurred. Without a specific example, this is difficult to address. If this truly happened then I sincerely apologize and will be on the lookout for this type of behavior occurring in the future. Compensation, Growth, & Development- Again, not quite sure where this sentiment is derived from. This is just not accurate so I’d like to highlight a few key points from the company's side of things. LoadUp raised our entire company's minimum base pay for all employees to $40K+/year roughly 9 months ago. Additionally to that, we’ve had numerous tenured employees receive promotions and raises over the course of the last six months. I do understand that a number of employees expect raises and promotions in a short period of time, however, we can’t always satisfy that and it really depends on the department, seniority level, and willingness to take on added responsibilities. Diversity, equity, and inclusion- I will agree with you on this note. We do not have a dedicated diversity, equity, and inclusion program here at LoadUp. Simply put, we’re still a small company with limited resources. Typically, these types of programs are deployed by much larger companies with a lot of resources at their disposal. Having said that, we do not discriminate against any employees based on sex, race, color, national origin, or religion. We’ve employed and will continue to employ a diverse population at LoadUp. When our company size is appropriate we’ll explore program options. Again, thank you for taking the time to review LoadUp. We don’t take this feedback lightly and will continue to take in relevant feedback in order to improve our employees' work lives. I’m sorry that LoadUp was not able to meet your expectations and wish you all the best. Sincerely, Greg Workmon

I truly love my job at LoadUp Technologies. I’ve always believed that you can thrive in a company with a strong, positive culture — and that’s exactly what I’ve found here. What sets LoadUp apart is its genuine commitment to its purpose, mission, and vision, while consistently embodying its core values. Leadership doesn’t just talk about these principles — they live them. The company truly cares about its employees, and that care naturally extends to the customers & partners we serve. One of the things I appreciate most is the cross-collaboration across departments. Everyone works together, supports one another, and contributes to shared success on a daily basis. It really feels like a true work family. We’re growing at an incredible pace, and it’s an exciting time to be part of the journey. If you haven’t considered LoadUp for your career, now is the time to jump on board.

It's a subscription based company with 3 tiers. To get the offers first you must pay 500 dollars each month. Second tier is 250 and the lowest tier is 75 a month. You won't make your money back on the 75 a month tier. You only get offers that everyone else has already declined. You also have to pay 100 dollars for 1000 points. You use those points to pay for jobs. When it's time to get paid they don't use direct deposit or paper checks, PayPal, venmo, cash app, apple pay, branch or anything that will get you paid the same day. They only use stripe, square or quickbooks. You create an account and connect your bank account. Load up sends you an invoice. You send the invoice back to load up through the payment platform. They send you a digital card. You then pay yourself through a second invoice with your payment platform, for a convenience fee of course. Load up calls you 5 times a day with job offers that don't pay enough to survive. But the ask you to under bid that number. They try to start bidding wars with other contractors doing all the labor. The lowest bid gets the job. Management keeps all the savings. Payment takes well over a week and the digital card is only valid for 2 weeks. They must keep the money after that. You won't even believe how bad this company is

We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and feedback. We understand that every contractor has different preferences and working styles, and we’re sorry to hear that your experience left you feeling frustrated. Our subscription tiers, lead distribution system, and payout structure are designed to give contractors flexibility in how they grow their business, while also supporting fast access to opportunities across many markets. We recognize that learning the payout workflow — including invoicing through merchant to merchant platforms — can feel unfamiliar at first, but these systems are in place to provide secure, trackable payments for both contractors and customers. Our partners successfully choose projects that fit their pricing, schedule, and business goals. Our team’s outreach is intended to help connect contractors with available opportunities, though we understand communication preferences can vary and we’re always working to improve that experience. We genuinely value all contractor feedback, including criticism, because it helps us continue refining the platform and improving support.
