It’s hype beast culture mixed with corporate greed. Want to see an actor who thinks they are gods gift to man but really is the product of nepotism and luck tell you how to “make it in Hollywood,” all while real people struggle, middle class is shrinking, the wealth gap is ever-widening, one man has more money than over 55% of the population of this country (and you’ll probably interview him too, for a “class”) and all the while masterclass is continually trying to charge your credit card? Then masterclass is the perfect service for you! This surface is surface-level fake classes and celebrity worship culture. They aren’t classes, they are ego-centered, masturbatory, self-indulgent, narcissistic videos that is a pretty solid metaphor for the regression of society as a whole. Everyone is entitled, self-centered, cogs with no empathy. And this company is part of the problem.
