Avantages

- Very well established products that have a large footprint in the market across various industries and geographies.

Inconvénients

- An ultra-micromanaged organization with very clear hierachies. Low Level employees and beginners have no say. - Managers seem to have no education in business Administration or HR and are usually people with a very technical background without and skills to manage human beings. - Low salaries compared to other software companies. Salary increases do almost not exist and the stakeholder Bonus is so low at the end of the year. - Very difficult working environment for people who have a aamily. You cannot work from home and if you want to take some time off to care about your family MathWorks is trying everything to prevent you from doing it. - A huge amount of bureaucracy and infinite number of review cycles for every little project you do. - Zero possibility to work from home. - No positive Feedback for accomplishments but huge pressure and threat when something does not work immediately. - Huge workload and I saw many people leaving with a burnout over the last years.
