Avantages

The rest of the team is pretty great. The pay and vacation is nice.

Inconvénients

CTO (who's one of the founders) often goes back on what he says. Makes remarks about people working from home too much (before the pandemic) even though he's remote. If you make a suggestion for a change that would require a whole new position, he'll ask you if you want to take up that up even if your work load is full. Likes to hire people he's buddy buddy with even though they're not appropriate for the job (I suppose that's normal at companies but it's super noticeable when it's a company of less than 20 people and there could've been someone actually useful there instead). He's also often on some sort of power trip which makes the environment pretty toxic. Will try to make you come up with new product ideas for roadmaps. Shows favoritism among teams. Doesn't really know how to talk to people. Expect "career opportunities" without the pay raise (but I guess you get experience?). Beware of promised bonuses. Most of the engineering team have been there less than 2 years. Is it because they loved it there so much? Probably not.

Working at Meshify has been a great experience as a software engineer, here is why. 1. The culture, team and challenges are all top notch. 2. They hire smart people and give them the space to do their job well. 3. The backend team is incredibly talented and have built out a powerful flexible system that will allow the company to grow. 4. Meshify has been a great place to work and is getting all the important stuff right. No complaints.
