Avantages

None of it from the company

Inconvénients

Management Style: Leaders tend to micro-manage instead of empowering staff. Employees are often threatened, interrupted during projects, and given no proper channel to voice concerns. Subordinates receive no protection from their managers; instead, others can escalate against them without valid reasons. Leadership Issues: There is no real leadership, especially from certain Pinoy leaders, who create a toxic and demoralizing culture. Guidance and support are absent; blame-shifting and intimidation are common. Job Roles & Expectations: Job descriptions are unclear, and workers are frequently forced to take on unrelated tasks. This leads to confusion, inefficiency, and frustration. Compensation & Benefits: Benefits are minimal, increments are low, and rewards do not match the workload or expectations. Work Flexibility: The company pulled back hybrid working for Supplier Operation Department staff only, which feels unfair and discriminatory compared to other teams. Additional Warning: Be cautious of one particular manager, KC, from the Product Test Department. He is extremely rude and shows no respect, not only to employees from other departments but even to same-level managers. He abuses workers from other teams openly, and despite multiple complaints to HR, no corrective action has been taken. Conclusion: Microchip lacks fairness, respect, and genuine leadership. Employees are over-controlled, under-valued, and unsupported. If you are considering joining, especially in the Supplier Operation Department, proceed with extreme caution.

Avantages

There are a handful of people here who are fantastic to work with, are very knowledgeable, and care about the product that's going out the door.

Inconvénients

Leadership is fundamentally out of touch and appears indifferent to employee well-being. The culture is marred by nepotism and a lack of accountability, where 'guiding values' are preached but never practiced. Feedback is discouraged, and those who speak up are often targeted. Expect a 'reward' of more work for the same pay, as promotions are rare and promised bonuses are frequently withheld despite strong site performance. A very frustrating and toxic environment for those who value merit and transparency.
