Avantages

Cleanest shop and best bikes in the city by far. Company has lots of perks with wedding rides and second lines. A lot of the toxic riders have left and we have a pretty chill group. It's a really good when you need a 2nd job and want to bring home cash.

Inconvénients

The weather can be an issue for some riders. It's hot in the summer. But more people want to ride when it's hot. So pick your battles.

Avantages

Pedicabbing can be fun when there are safety measures in place

Inconvénients

NAR treats their employees as disposable and makes sure they don't have any rights to stand on. They fire people when they speak out, delete comments on group chats when ppl speak out. They ask for the highest rates in the COUNTRY for their pedicab drivers to rent the cabs every shift which leads to drivers staying out much too late to make enough money to make it worth it, endangering us and putting us in high risk situations. They deny good shifts to women/queer riders and instead staff the same men on back to back to back doubles, hoarding the shifts, and inevitably putting overworked, sore, exhausted and underslept employees out on the streets operating a vehicle. We have been subjected to dangerous situations (car wrecks, drunk drivers, gun threats, muggings, and now a domestic terror attack and bombs) without any protections, and if someone is traumatized they punish them by removing their shifts and offering nothing to help. They isolate women who speak out and tell them to be quiet or fire them on the spot. Sexual assault is seen as and called drama. They lie, they get caught in lies and they lie even more. Their management is comprised of the most deeply misogynistic men possible, who deny women's word, their shifts, and treat them entirely inappropriately, blaming them for assaults or for not getting shifts they want by saying they're too weak to handle it. NAR demands the best presentation, customer service, full rent being dropped (which goes against industry standards, 1/3rd rent being passable as long as you tried), full shifts being worked (despite dangers, no customers, heat, cold, sickness), and for you to never defend yourself or each other. The employees who ban together get threatened. The ones who keep their heads down get rewarded. Females and trans/gay people have to turn to each other for safety, and they are lucky to have a few guys on their side. Employees are so unhappy that they feel trapped, and the ones who are booted are left with nothing. No solutions, no reference, no work history, and a lost lifestyle (because it does become everything to you). Do not even give them your time.
