Avantages

It’s very hard to find any pros to be honest. Maybe the “free” lunch/dinner. The food is good. The canteen where you eat is a horrible place though.

Inconvénients

I’ve only been working here for some time and I already find it A NIGHTMARE. Where should I start? Management: no leadership whatsoever. They don’t care about employees, they are just slaves. No empathy. No kindness. Horrible. Facilities: the hotel itself is beautiful; but bear with me: just the guest areas. As soon as you step into the staff area, the look of everything is of a ran down place. The hotel is very warm and cozy, but if you go to the canteen you’ll freeze. Of course, guests is the only thing that matters. Staff: everyone has been working for no more than 3 months. Everyone wants lo leave. Salary: SHAMEFUL. Shifts: a disaster. They never let you know in advance what your roster is. Anyway, I could go on and on. I you get and interview here, don’t waste your time. You’re worth more than this sh*t hole.

Avantages

It's challenging to find any positive aspects.

Inconvénients

Unstable environment driven by toxic management practices. Low pay, no recognition, and ongoing staff loss. Culture does not support long-term retention. The employees are so fed up that they don't even talk to HR anymore; they just quit to escape the toxic environment. Irish employees are treated better than foreigners, which is a disgrace for a company of this size.

Avantages

Good team spirit among staff in the early years. Some nice colleagues who genuinely care about guest experience.

Inconvénients

There’s no real respect for employees’ effort or time. Salaries are very low compared to industry standards. Extremely heavy micromanagement — no trust in staff. Management is unqualified, indifferent, and lacks basic leadership skills. Employees are treated like numbers, not people. The attitude is “you can easily be replaced.” Pay raises and title changes are constantly delayed or denied with excuses. When someone threatens to leave, suddenly promotions or raises become possible. Favouritism is very obvious — those liked by management get all opportunities. The first year and a half were decent, but later everything went downhill under the excuse of “budget issues.” Staff benefits and perks were cut, and morale dropped significantly. After over 3 years of service, I didn’t even receive a proper goodbye or acknowledgment. When problems arise, management simply ignores them.
