The training and values instilled are genuinely transferable — they’ve held up across subsequent roles and have been recognised by international companies I’ve worked with since. It sets a bar that’s hard to find elsewhere.
Inconvénients
During my time there, retrenchments created noticeable instability, which was ultimately a key factor in my decision to leave. Limited progression opportunities within the role was also a challenge, and from what I can tell, that hasn’t changed significantly — though I can only speak to my experience at the time.
