Avantages
- no lack of interesting problems to solve and their impact on the business is always clear - couldn't ask for better teammates. They're humble, helpful and very sharp - managers encourage a healthy work life balance, set realistic expectations and let you own the projects you work on. Those are all especially important as a remote employee - just good people in general. The product of that is a culture where you don't have to put on a "work face" to impress your boss or tip-toe around frustrated coworkers. It removes a lot of unneeded pressure that I've experienced at other companies
Inconvénients
None worth mentioning. The company is split between US and Australian timezones so there's not much overlap in work hours but it hasn't impacted me as much as I thought it would. i.e. I'm not pulling long hours to accommodate
