Avantages

Competitive salary and other perks

Inconvénients

Lack of job security, management and especially those who are team leads and running the programme are bunch of fools sitting in the organisation from very long long time and encourage nepotism, favoritism, you scratch my back i will scratch yours attitude, horrible HR with so much arrogant behaviour which is evident from the time of hiring.Lack of learning development opportunties, so once you are out of the organization you lack the skills to survive in the next competitive industry. Growth is not based on your experience or calibre, growth within organisation depends upon your connections and how influential you are in terms of your connections with political person or IAS officers. There is lack of team collaboration, mostly the information related to project is confined to one or two person, they do not believe in information sharing and i feel its stemming out of the insecurity of the team leader. And this is also evident from the team structure. Most of team is dissolved withon 2 years, they ask a forceful resignation, either you resign on your own or be ready for the termination, and surprisingly they will hire fresh people within 2 to 3 months period, but this team leader and his /her favorite stars remains forever in the organisation for minting money.

Avantages

Staff had a more innovative mindset than most USAID-funded orgs I know, more open to new ways of working, better at adopting new tools.

Inconvénients

In the end, they're still bureaucratic and the bureaucracy of their major funders (USAID and the Gates Foundation) means PATH is bureaucratic also, admin processes like recruitment are slow, and they're always chasing the funding instead of doing the right thing for the project and the client country.
