Avantages
You'll bulk up your resume quickly, and having a basic training in sales is never a bad thing. If you're introverted, you will definitely be brought, or maybe forced out of your shell. If you like standing on concrete for 8 hours talking to people who wish you weren't there, this is the job for you!
Inconvénients
No work life balance, and awful pay, which is why I ultimately quit. The company had literally 100% (or all but) turnover in its first year. Andy opened Pace Events in 2014, and he was the only person still there a year later. Everyone else had been cycled in and out over the course of the year. The reason people leave is stress and bad pay. I was working 70-80+ hours/week in total, being paid for ~40 of them (the rest of the time was "off the schedule," but was work I had to do with my team. Breaking down days, one on ones, that sort of thing), and was still unable to pay my bills. Andy cares more about driving sales than building people, which is why he has promoted one person into management. To give you an idea, other Smart Circle subsidiaries typically promote 2 people into management within 6 months. Andy got one person there in over a year, and lost countless quality people in the process. Look up Smart Circle before you apply for a job here, it's one of their road show "offices." There's also no benefits, no paid time off, minimal requested time off (good luck if you want to go home for the holidays, have a trip planned, get sick, etc.). I'm honestly floored this business is still running.
