      Avantages

      With a three year backlog, there is no shortage of work! We regularly see and interact with our customers, fire fighters, and see the excitement for their new vehicle which will eventually keep them safe and help them save lives. Pierce is also very supportive of employees that want to continue to learn and grow. There are opportunities to go back to school, train for a new job on-site, or transfer to something new all within the organization!

      Inconvénients

      It is a busy and fast paced organization, if you have what it takes to keep up, this really isn't a "con" or bad thing.

      Avantages

      Good exposure to various accounting topics, a lot of pride in the product and serving customers.

      Inconvénients

      Good place to work if you’re happy with being compensated with donuts for your extra effort and hours. Don’t expect much support from other departments, very siloed. Fingers will be pointed for things out of your control. Favoritism is a problem and lack of appreciation for efforts/improvements. Often times your questions will be faced with condescension. Not many folks of retirement age are on the finance staff. Interpret that as you may.
