Avantages
The people, hands down, make this company. PlayNetwork has some of the best talent in the industry and there has historically been a collaborative approach that encourages mutual respect and an opportunity to grow professionally. Leadership is approachable. The (former) culture was fun, upbeat, and celebrated the employees and their contributions to the company. The in house concerts by up and coming artists are very cool, and the appreciation and contributions to the artistic community are admirable.
Inconvénients
The culture that once drew and kept A-list talent no longer applies. Work/Life balance is not encouraged. Pay has been cut. Departments are incredibly understaffed and overworked. Health plan is expensive. Employees who were once valued are now being treated (and voiced) by leadership as replaceable commodities - while that same leadership maintains that the services the company provides are NOT a commodity. HR is one sided and has unusual influence and power within the organization. Lots of skirting of ownership departmentally.
