Very few, I wish there were more
Inconvénients
If you've read some of the reviews about Premier Group on Glassdoor then you'll see a trend, every rating for is either 5 stars or 1 star, here is no in between. The reason for this is that the 5 star reviews are written (inmost) part by the senior management team to bring the rating up. The 1 star reviews give a much more accurate picture of what Premier is really like. One of the things that attracted me to Premier was the number of 'awards' that they have won. Let me tell you, these awards mean nothing, nada, zero... they are not representative of the company and I have no idea how they have managed to 'win' them. I have my suspicions and have personally been part of the Sunday Times rating process. Rating anything other than maximum in all areas is not an option, at least if you want to keep your job... From my experience, Premier do not have any core values, they certainly can't claim integrity or honesty as their entire model is build around deception and lies. Lies to candidates to get leads, lies to clients and lies to each other (often about how good the managementteam is..) The management team is extremely mediocre, Ben Broughton is the only talented manager in the business and I dont have a bad word to say about him. The rest of are at best bullies and at worst sexist biggotts. The day to day running of the business is very cavalier, rash decisions are made by management, HR processes ignored, it really is a school playground mentality. There are some successful people at Premier but be under no illusion, these people are the 1%ers. For 99% of the work force, it's a painful slog, unrealistic targets, very little support. One of the recent '5 star' reviews mentioned that everyone who wrote a negative review about Premier was 'lazy' - this sums up Premiers ability to receive any criticism. They cannot / will not recognise any other way than the 'Premier Way'. If you don't give your entire life to the company then you're lazy... I agree that success is important but not at all costs, the sooner Premier realise this the better. If you are considering a career in recruitment, there are so many better and more ethical companies to work for, I would highly advise against joining Premier. I have given a low CEO rating, despite it mentioning Ben Broughtons name, my rating is of the overall management and not just one individual.
