Avantages

- small company doing really innovative work = lots of room for professional growth and opportunity - good work/life balance - interesting work that really makes a difference

Inconvénients

typical small company things - small company means you wear a lot of hats, and can be asked to do things that aren't strictly part of your job description. - CEO is heavily involved in the day to day, which for some people may be unfamiliar - if you have come from a big company, public or PE backed, the culture can be an adjustment - not the right fit if you need really clear boundaries, 9-5, because emergencies can happen after hours

The CEO is a lunatic who likes to publicly bash you and allows other leaders do the same as well. They choose not to have a Human Resources department to ensure they can harass you and have no recourse when you are bullied and or humiliated. You will be targeted if you complain about the work environment. They do not take the hiring process seriously, and hire anyone off the streets with no previous experience. This causes major conflict completing unrealistic goals. There is no performance reviews or valuable feedback to grow yourself or with the company. No clue or idea of how promotions or raises are obtained. The CEO’s concerns are more focused on how much he can decorate the office instead of investing in what the employees truly need. The CEO is completely clueless thinking adding certain amenities make for a better experience when in reality it is the overall toxic environment that is why people do not stay. All of the best galant has come and gone. You will be hard pressed to find anyone here with anyone over one year with the company. Most are fired before 90 days and are usually fired if you are actually knowledgeable in what you’re doing. There is no work life balance. The CEO will message you and expect you to put in hours all day everyday, nights, weekends, all the time. A shower has been provided and beds across the street because the expectation is you live there.
