Avantages
Bonus based on company and employee performance usually quarterly. Get off work early every Friday I have really gotten use to it let me tell you. The owning family seems to genuinely care about their employees. I have literally seen a senior manager lend cash out of their own wallet to a lower level but long time employee because they needed it. It was awesome and to be honest I don't know if I'd do the same thing if I was in the same position. I'd be like talk to HR about an advance on your check or go get a pay day loan. Not this senior manager just pulled a couple of hundreds out of their wallet and just handed it to him with a simple verbal agreement he'd pay him back.
Inconvénients
It's a family owned business so there are favorites and politics no way to get around it at any family owned company even a great one like this one.
