Avantages

- Money money money, if they choose to give you good leads through their I'm house "flow" system, and you are willing to put up with their abuse and B.S. you can make some serious cash. - If you must work here, do yourself a favor and request the OPS department, better management and definitely a better environment.

Inconvénients

-Family run brokerage, don't let this highly used buzz phrase fool you, it means that they are a small enough company to not pay sick days, and skip all the other inconvenient fail safes that larger companies are forced to comply with. -Hours.. not only are you expected to work 9.15-7.30, you are also expected to come in early for meetings, and also stay late if the floor has not hit target, this is unpaid, and if you are one of the few who walks out when your shift actually ends, you can literally feel the managers eyes burning a hole on the back of your head. -The entire management team on the sales floor all the way up to the directors is full of passive aggressive people, the lower management get constantly yelled at by upper management, who in turn are expected to pass this negativity onto the sales people... super fun place to be 10 hrs a day. - Do you like to be spied on? Great! then work here. Protect line have it all, from key fobs that track when you enter/leave, how many steps you take, how long you spend in the bathroom, to high definition cameras blanketing the whole office, managers reading your emails and a new voice analytics technology that listens to every single call and feeds back into to the management.. Oh and you never know who is listening to your call directly whether it to your direct manager, upper management or even the directors. -Leads.. they control what leads you get, and sometimes have you dialing very old data, even when you have long moved past training. so you better hope you are one of the lucky ones. -I don't know how they get away with it. but if the leads they purchase don't pick up they are dialed 10 times a day for weeks and even months. -Show some energy! expect to be micro managed if you are not super excited about dialing 3 month old data. -But don't show too much energy! if they see you are enjoying a convo with a co worker they will shut it down quickly. -Finally. if you have a spine, and even a little self respect, find another company, you won't last long here

Avantages

Okay salary, they train well, if you're not in sales you'll probably like working here

Inconvénients

If you are in sales find somewhere else, it's miserable. As soon as you leave training, it become apparent how poor the job is and the sales management that work there. Major power trips and fakeness, couldn't leave soon enough. They have a staff turnover that would make your eyes water

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re really pleased to hear that you felt supported during training and found the salary and training opportunities positive. At the same time, we’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience in a sales role didn’t meet your expectations. We take feedback around management approach, transparency, and environment very seriously. Sales roles can be fast paced and high pressure, and creating a culture that feels genuine, supportive, and fair is something we continually strive for. You’ve mentioned turnover, which is something we’re open about as a business. As a sales led organisation with a relatively early career demographic, we do expect a degree of natural movement, particularly in roles that suit people for a certain stage of their career. Our focus has always been on providing strong training, development, and progression during someone’s time with us - whether that leads to progression internally or prepares them for their next step with greater skills and experience than when they joined. We’re also proud that many of our sales executives and leaders have been with us for over 10 years, and our overall attrition has been trending in the right direction year on year. We really appreciate you sharing your honest perspective. If you’d be open to discussing your experience in more detail or offering specific suggestions, we’d genuinely welcome that conversation. We wish you all the very best in your next role.

Avantages

The overall culture at Protect Line is great, everyone is friendly and genuinely cares for each others wellbeing. The job itself is fairly pressured, however you are paid well to compensate this, there is no such thing as a free lunch at the end of the day so if you work hard you’ll see a very healthy income. Management are supportive and encouraging, the HR team are second to none and take their job seriously, there is no judgement from them and they treat you with respect and care. The office is clean and modern with a huge recent investment into it, it’s like working for a big tech company or something! From the top to the bottom there is a sense of togetherness so when you have hard days you’ll always have that to lean on.

Inconvénients

Some reviews talk about long days, that can be true, most days you’ll get out on time but some days you won’t. Sometimes the day to day can feel repetitive, however they do try to break the day up with various engaging activities or training. It is quite pressured, it’s the nature of a sales environment, but you do get used to it and the better you get at the job the less pressure you’ll feel.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and balanced review. We’re really pleased to hear your positive comments about the culture at Protect Line, and that you found the environment friendly and supportive. Creating a workplace where people genuinely care for one another’s wellbeing is incredibly important to us, so it’s lovely to hear this reflected in your experience. We appreciate your honesty around the more pressured aspects of the role. Sales environments can naturally be fast paced and in some cases repetitive, and we know this won’t be the same for everyone every day. We’re glad to hear that the team activities and training sessions helped bring some variety, and we will continue to explore new ways of keeping the day-to-day experience engaging and rewarding. Regarding working hours, you’re right that on occasion people may finish slightly later—particularly when they are supporting a customer or wrapping up an important conversation. However, the majority of our team do finish on time, and we have worked hard to review our standard hours and provide flexible patterns where possible to support a healthy work–life balance. Thank you also for your feedback on management styles. We recognise the importance of evolving our leadership approach, and we’re pleased you’ve noticed the steps we’ve been taking in this area. Your point about focusing on long‑term performance rather than isolated moments is incredibly valuable, and we always strive to achieve the right balance between looking at the "here and now" and the "bigger picture". It’s wonderful to hear that you felt supported overall and built strong relationships with many of the managers. Feedback like yours helps us continue making improvements that genuinely matter to our colleagues. If you have any further suggestions or would like to share more about your experience, we would be grateful to hear from you. Thank you once again for taking the time to share your experience with us.
