Avantages
People. Some of the best people I have ever met in my life and will meet in my life are at Q2. CEO Matt Flake is one of the most authentic, genuine CEO's in the game. The world is your oyster here. Meaning you see a problem, great- it's now yours to fix which is excellent for gaining experience and building your resume. Very entrepreneurial spirit. Learning and development platforms and trainings are unmatched.
Inconvénients
It has changed so incredibly much it's actually alarming and sad. The culture used to be one of encouragement, fun, and positivity and now it's only matched with discouragement, too much work, negativity, and disdain. There's not even enough time to have fun because you are so exhausted and tired all the time from working the job of 3 different people. HR also got rid of all bonus and RSU's for certain levels so you can't even get rewarded for working longer hours. A large portion of the jobs are moving to India and that's great and all - I have nothing against doing that - but the way in which and speed in which Q2 is doing it is painful and honestly not normal. The sr leadership team doesn't talk about the move to India or the layoffs happening except only to prove that this is good for "EBIDA" and "profitable growth". There needs to be a serious look at individuals who are leaders of Q2. There are cliques and behaviors that say 'if you don't do this then you can't sit with us' and it is quiet toxicity. I wish so badly this could have been a career for me but it took advantage of me, chewed me up and spit me out and then expected me to be okay along the way.
