Avantages
Good culture, toxic people arent tolerated. Can be under pressure like any job but its not the norm. Best is that the culture allows people to be pretty experimental and collaborative. A lot of top roles are filled internally, I know a fair few people with amazing ascendant careers, zig-zagging their way up. The pay is also good now, used to be a bit of an issue but now it's solid. Fantastic benefits. Some exceptional (!) leadership - I really admire many of them on a personal level.
Inconvénients
Things can move a bit slowly or there's difficulty in connecting all the dots on an issue. Living in a present contending with legacy issues. Usual stuff. A lot being done to stay ahead of the curve, but change can be a pain too. Flipside to the amazing career mobility some have, can be a very flat career for others, but suppose that's normal. Just not tons of jobs to move up into in any given area, so a lot of people move laterally.
