16hThanks for taking the time to share your experience and for the contribution you made during your time with the RAC.
It’s good to hear you found the role a fast-paced way to learn about how motor breakdown support works. We know that can be a steep learning curve, especially early on.
We’re sorry to hear that your onboarding experience didn’t meet expectations. It’s an area we’ve recognised needs improvement, and we’re currently in the middle of upgrading the onboarding journey to make it much more structured, supportive and easier to navigate. That includes improving how we introduce systems, giving people more time to build confidence before moving into live environments, and making sure support is there at the right moments.
You’ve also raised some important points around pressure, KPIs and pay. We want colleagues to feel set up to succeed, not overwhelmed, and feedback like this helps us keep reviewing how we support people day to day, as well as how we recognise performance in a fair and achievable way.
Thanks again for your honest feedback. It plays a really important role in shaping the improvements we’re making.
