Avantages
I worked at this company for several years, before and after the acquisition. The company always struggled, but there was a sense of purpose and pride in trying to turn that around. Managers were tough but usually honest and straightforward. I learned a lot and I was grateful for it.
Inconvénients
When the company was acquired and became Reconext, nearly everything loveable had been stripped away within a year. Here are some of the things that happened: • Sites were shuddered, leaving hundreds of employees without a job. • Trusted managers were fired and replaced with friends of C-level executives. • New managers had no desire to understand the needs of customers, leading to the end of several long-term and once profitable contracts. They also ignored the feedback and suggestions of the staff and treated them with disrespect and contempt. • As problems mounted, the knives came out and leadership began turning on associates and one another. There was no trust, no communication, and no collaboration. The work environment became toxic and hostile.
