Awful work environment - Avis employé Genetic Counseling Assistant Reproductive Genetic Innovations

I enjoyed my time at RGI. Learning from the Genetic Counsellers and Lab Directors about the industry. My favorite part of the job was working closely with the patients and medical professionals.

None that I can think of

They will tell you whatever you want to hear while they are trying to hire you (research opportunities, flexible hours, WFH etc)

but upon hire, they will use and abuse you as the scaffolding upon which their entire enterprise shockingly is based. Without you none of the rest of the enterprise would be possible, yet they will speak down to you and make you feel like their absolute slave, making barely above a living wage.
