Avantages
The job was very easy, a child could do it. Some of the people were ok. Being a large company, some of the benefits aren't too bad.
Inconvénients
Bullying within the management. Culture which discourages forward thinking. Promotions are entirely decided by who you are friends with, completely discounting ability - this leads to people in management positions who have no idea what they are doing and a vicious circle of nothing ever getting done. There is no route to promotion. Salaries are unfair compared to competitors and similar roles elsewhere. There is no flexibility with working hours. The entire IT infrastructure is broken and largely unsecure -- many, many security issues to be exploited. The tools to do your job were often unavailable, IT support was basically first line monkeys with no idea what to do and no escalation procedures. Senior managers are a board of old hats with no concern about lower ranked employees.
