Inconvénients
1. Management openly insults and bullies people. There is frequent use of inappropriate language. 2. The office is not suitable for productive work. It's quite noisy and uncomfortable. 3. Unprofessional and rude HR and admin staff. It's frustrating dealing with them and makes for an unpleasant experience working at this company. 4. Company does not provide computers for software developers. They have "bring your own device" policy. Alternatively, you can buy a new computer through the company (at a 25% discount + loan over 12 months), but you can only do that after confirmation (there's a 3 month probation period). You only find out about this after you have signed the contract. 5. Work is highly unorganized which affects productivity. Managers expect employees to compensate by putting in long hours. 6. Taking medical leave during the probation period (first 3 months) is frowned upon. For expats, if they have to travel out of country for treatment, the company doesn't allow them to use their medical / hospitalization leave, so they have to take unpaid leave. Apparently, the medical and hospitalization leave is only applicable for treatment inside Malaysia. You cannot even use your paid-time-off in such a case.
