Avantages
Senior leadership are attentive, available, and consistent in their messaging. This inspires confidence and trust amongst staff. Expectations are well communicated, and teams work hard to remove ambiguity and define efficient processes and workflows. Security / compliance frameworks are well managed and taken seriously, and staff take due care and due diligence seriously in their day to day work with patient data.
Inconvénients
Can be intimidating, working with such talented and capable people, especially if coming from non-profit or less tech-first oriented vertical. Senior leadership value transparency and communication, but also sometimes have trouble keeping touch with smaller, more insulated support teams leading to a bit of silo-ing. Smaller teams may lack much upward movement in terms of opportunity.
