Avantages

The people were great and we had a fun time when I first started, and we had killer benefits which made up for the crappy pay.

Inconvénients

After a couple of acquisitions it became more and more about the bottom line and less about the people and the culture. The pay is below industry standard, the benefits got slashed, and they're doing nothing around market data to make ensure pay is fair. Career growth paths are non existent. You go - do your job - don't ask questions or try to make things better - and you get to keep your job. There are rarely promotions from within and the departments are very segregated. Teams barely talk to each other outside of their own teams. Individual contributors are stretched very thin while upper management doesn't appear to understand their day to day jobs.

Avantages

Great folks working in an industry supporting the rights of Songwriters. Lots of opportunity to learn and work on interesting things.

Inconvénients

Hybrid working model but that is pretty typical anywhere these days.

Avantages

hybrid schedule, co-workers are friendly, summer fridays. laid back atmosphere.

Inconvénients

management and senior HR leadership frequently stated that questions were encouraged, but in practice, asking for clarification was often met with a dismissive response, very low pay in comparison to other music publishing companies, and departments felt very siloed. High turnover.
