Avantages

This company really cares about it's cardholders/they market they target. They do a great job to educate people on our product. There are a lot of women in management positions so that is really exciting to see and makes me feel like I can work my way up. The company encourages employees to give shoutouts to colleagues and they do drawings for gift cards, blazer games, Portland gear items etc. The office is constantly being updated and they really care about their employees. Pay is really good, the minimum hourly rate is $15/hour.

Inconvénients

They don't really communicate to ALL staff regarding changes, procedures etc. Most people find out about things through chatting with other coworkers. The President tends to favor the account manager team. It makes it discouraging if you work in another department. Employees constantly talk about this. There is only room for growth if you start in the account manager team (customer service). Then you can move to other departments. But if you start in another department, expect to stay there. MAYBE you will get a "Senior" role but don't count on it.

Avantages

Family vibe, good work/life balance, good co-workers, comfortable work space with plants and newer furniture.

Inconvénients

mid-level employees' salaries outside of sales were monitarily undervalued, many processes and procedures were largely un or underdefined which led to some inconsistency.

Avantages

The product really works and SOLE knows its place in the market. This is uncommon and makes employees feel confident in SOLE. Some of the best people I've ever worked with; kind, compassionate, and a real family. There is real commitment to making positives changes on the social issues that impact the local community. Again, this is rare and great.

Inconvénients

SOLE needs to put on its big kid pants and grow up in a lot of ways; the way things are done now won't scale with the projected expansion. SOLE is lucky to have avoided large structural issues thus far, but this will change over time. There needs to be a third-party compensation review done across the board, to ensure internal equity (protected classes) but also to make sure people are being paid the industry average. "Career development" for employees seems like a tiring task that management is forced to do, not a genuine interest that they have. Shuffling the same people around to different departments/teams isn't true career development.
