      Avantages

      - Relaxed atmosphere with casual dress code every day. - Supportive team that acknowledges and recognizes hard work and efforts. - Great place to kick off your career and learn tons. - Opportunities to Travel

      Inconvénients

      - Not much room for growth - because it's a small organization there isn't much room to "climb a ladder." If you're looking to move up, it's a little difficult to figure out where you can go. - Low Pay - as with most non-profits, money is always tight. However, the pay here seems to be exceptionally low for some.

      Avantages

      Wonderful members! Strong participation and involvement in volunteer chapters and divisions.

      Inconvénients

      Current CEO (not David Biderman) who started in 2023 does not embody the SWANA values. She cultivates an environment of fear, unnecessary scrutiny, and blame. Environment with continual inconsistency resulting in a lack of focus on operations and follow-through since there are too few staff to do the work, and the direction and priorities are constantly changing. Overworked and understaffed with constant chaos.
