Avantages
There are some good people at Splash. Mainly in IC roles.
Inconvénients
Toxic environment: - I once witnessed the CEO, Steve. Chew-out a single team in front of the entire company during a "retrospective". I was appalled at the damage it did to the already thin layer of psychological safety at the company. - I had teammates who would join meetings and take naps during our pair programming sessions so that it looked like they were busy. - I noticed that service-based employees like CX experts were looked down on and treated very poorly by the company. Not appreciated or listened to. Unprofessional leadership: - CEO, Steve, punishes people publicly. - CMO, Helen, was not familiar with basic industry concepts and terminology in key marketing areas. Made it tough to get work done across the board. - CTO, Tej, lures devs to Splash under false pretenses. CTO also pretends to know a lot about software and product development. Meanwhile, there is terrible technical debt. in the code and systems.
