Avantages

At SON, you get: - An open, collaborative environment full of creative challenges - A democracy of innovation (company even has an Innovation Board, where anyone can present and discuss big new ideas you want to test but need $ for) - An endless amount of opportunities to grow and create - Smart, motivated co-workers & leadership with a proven track record in the field - A chance to launch and run websites sponsored by big brands (e.g., P&G brands, Nestle, etc.) - Personal responsibility and freedom in every project - Lots and lots of laughs every day - Good pay & benefits, beautiful sun-filled office in the heart of SoHo & great perks (summer Fridays, flexible hours, unlimited personal days)

Inconvénients

- If you're passionate about this field and your job, you can easily find yourself staying at work late because there's an endless amount of great work to be done here - Fast-paced environment is exciting and energizing but can get tiring at times - Meetings can take over a big chunk of your day, so you have to learn to say no without feeling bad

Avantages

Studio One is one of (if not the) most established content marketing firms. It's a great place to learn the business and to grow in a $68 billion industry.

Inconvénients

There is little room for idling about. If you are not focused and goal oriented it is easy to become lost.

Good vacation policy but it isn't enough if you wake up every day cursing your life. The most positive thing about this company is how you feel when you leave it.

Inconvénients

This the worst place I've ever worked at. The CEO is in the top 5 most awkward people I've ever met. He has 0 social skills and does bizarre things like wear a cowboy hat to work or make weird racial jokes. I still feel traumatized years later about my experience at Studio One. All of the positive "reviews" that happen to all be from October 2014 are so fake I don't even know where to start. The company is obsessed with "process" and creating unnecessary documents to track progress. So much so that you waste most of your time filling out stuff that's supposed to make you more efficient. The company preys on young people and exploits them for a low cost, increasing workload and just dumping it on people without any extra merit or compensation. The content is abysmal and there is no actual value in any website having syndicated content, actual the opposite since it's duplicate content it brings down SEO. All the "traffic" that goes to them is fake and is literally coming from ads on porn sites. Whoever acquired Studio One is an idiot. Do not work here unless you want to have suicidal thoughts every day.

Let me begin by apologizing. It is never my intent to make people feel uncomfortable. Having said that, I am aware of my shortcomings. I can certainly be socially awkward – but you can be comforted that no one suffers more from this than myself! Sometimes, I am seen as politically incorrect. And you have made me more aware of this by your post. Studio One does believe that process is essential to quality and scale, and we do pay market rates for our people. It should be noted that the average tenure of a Studio One employee significantly exceeds the industry standard. I do believe that it is important to clarify one point of fact. With respect to your comments on media, 50 of the 70 top advertisers in the world, the top 3 ad serving and tagging systems, and the top two measurement companies have all continuously used Studio One successfully for over 15 years. Furthermore, Studio One is Committed to Positive Media http://www.studioone.com/category/our-commitment-to-consumers/ My direct line is 212 863 4131. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly. If you worked here, you know that I am always seeking feedback and I believe that all feedback is good feedback. In any event, thank you for yours. Sincerely, Andrew Susman
