-below average compensation for job requirements (also resulting in uncontrollable, frequent turnover of sales staff) -unstable work environment at times -missed marketing opportunities that later affected sales -poor work/life balance at times (unofficially "on-call" throughout off-days, forced to work while ill or ask associates to do so; forced to work longer hours, double shifts, etc. if coverage was unavailable)
