Avantages
Only worked here for a little while. However the difference between here and other places I've worked is like night and day. The company really includes you, the company appears to care about you and your wellbeing. Monthly catch-ups called 'UK Roundtable' on company news and related discussions. During my probation period, I had weekly catch-ups with my line manager, Discussing things like wellbeing, performance, training and any concerns etc. Now reduced to monthly post probation. They run a hybrid working scheme, which requires office visits once every two weeks for team days. But you can visit the office when you feel like it other than that. The office itself, is a pleasant place to be. They haven't tried to pretend to care with fancy breakout areas and have instead worked on the things that really matter such as employee happiness and work life balance. They also have team building / social events mostly on a monthly basis, which has a mix of activities. Yearly pay review which around the new year period which is great. Honestly, I would fully recommend any Software engineer to apply, all I've witnessed is joy to be part of the business this far. Benefits package appears to be on par with other companies, although the Private pension scheme is a little more generous than other companies around the area, in the private sector at least. They run a health/dental private plan too but I've not taken advantage of these. They also offer, which seems to be a industry standard these days, a cycle to work scheme through salary sacrifice. The product(s)/work itself is very interesting with great processes in place to get the most out of your ability without causing too much administration/hassle. I feel that they believe in doing things right first time unlike other places I've witnessed. The flexibility and work life balance for me is by far the biggest benefit. Amazing so far, honestly, I've enjoyed every minute and also learning a lot too.
Inconvénients
Not much from my experience so far. I've been to a few companies and these are by far the best company I've worked for this far.
