Avantages

The business concept is unique and innovative, and the best-kept secret for luxury second homeowners to be able to travel the world rent-free. The current team is a group of hard workers who take genuine pride in their work. As there is always room for improvement, the company continues to invest in technology and training to create more efficiencies that benefit the team and, ultimately, the members. It's a fast-paced environment, and because it's a unique model, at times we have to pivot, so there's never a dull moment. Plenty of great ideas are generated by the team, and hard work is recognized. Great perks include generous time-off and the opportunity to stay in the club's homes and resorts for free.

Inconvénients

Like the "pro'" in that it is a fast-paced environment, sometimes we have to pivot quickly to meet the ever-changing demands. This can be challenging and frustrating for some. The pandemic caused some stressful times as we learned how to operate under such unforeseen circumstances to keep ourselves sane and healthy while working to keep our members satisfied

Avantages

Some talented people genuinely cared about improving the member experience and product.

Inconvénients

The culture often felt political and reactive rather than collaborative. Engineering leads threw people under the bus instead of doing actual work. There was a tendency for teams to protect themselves instead of working cross-functionally toward shared goals, which made it difficult to build momentum or trust. In my experience, employees who were deeply invested in improving the product and pushing for meaningful change were not always supported or retained. There were also challenges around accountability and execution within parts of the tech and leadership organization. Meetings frequently felt unproductive, priorities shifted often, and ownership was unclear, leading to delays and frustration across teams.
