I enjoy the variety of files and formats that I'm given to type. The flexibility to choose my own hours is a definite perk to this job. Even though I live in the US, Take Note's well-designed website makes it easy to work for them. Also, the London team members are friendly and efficient. They are always cheerful, professional, and efficient. You feel like a real part of the team because they do a great job of keeping everyone in the loop. Feedback is given in a timely manner, and is always helpful. Often there is a little bonus offered when people are needed to step up to the plate during heavy volume times. If you are willing to put in the time and effort, this is a great company to work for.
Inconvénients
You are paid once a month, which is not ideal for everyone. As a contract worker, you are not eligible for health or retirement benefits. Keep in mind, also, that you will not be great at this right off the bat. This is a job, an exacting job, and you will have to work harder in the beginning to do well. You are paid based on the length of the length of the audio, not by how long it takes you to type it.
