Talent Path survives on the empty promise of training with further placement while singlehandedly ruining what’s left of the hope you have of making a decent wage within the next 2 years. If you’re reading this, you’ve probably been recruited by Talent Path via Linked In. You probably spoke to a girl that was really enthusiastic about her job and made you genuinely excited for the future to come. I’m writing this to warn you. Talent Path traps you in a 2 year contract that basically ensures that they make the most profit off a recent college grad with the promise of “last mile training” and “industry exposure”. And these claims aren’t technically false. You will go through 3 months of training that will have you stressed one month and completely over your life in the next. You will learn things that you could’ve just Googled but would never have because most Universities don’t mention aspects of the real world and technology industry that are necessary for your success. And last but not least, you’ll be forced to add a lot of people on Linked In and then get yelled at if you don’t. The leadership is playing whack-a-mole with US cities in an attempt to rally all the gullible college grads that are desperately in need to boast about being a business analyst as their first job. With this, Talent Path is expanding too quickly; having very few resources and staff to adequately receive an ROI. Many consultants, upon “promotion”, sit around in a poor excuse of office space for months on end. The leaders of Talent Path promise their potential employees that they will place them at companies upon promotion. And I will give them that. About 16% of their consultants are actually placed somewhere, twirling their thumbs and counting the days till they can be released from the clutches of the Talent Path contract. For those who are considering applying/accepting this role at Talent Path, I advise you to consider working at a fast food establishment instead. You will have a much better experience than what you will endure at Talent Path aka Deloitte’s ugly step-cousin.

I am so sorry to see your feedback on the program. The Talent Path program was built specifically to help our employees access job opportunities in an emerging tech field where employers are struggling to find talent specifically trained on key skills in high demand. Our program was designed to provide our consultants the specific training that would encourage those employers to hire and employ our consultants without the investment of training and development. Our consultants are paid a competitive salary, provided full benefits, and put through a comprehensive technology immersion at no cost to them, all in an effort to ensure they are fully prepared to jump start their career in the tech field. We work hard to make sure this program is beneficial for all parties, not the least of which are our consultants. Our hope and belief is that every Talent Path consultant who joins us does so with a complete understanding of the commitment required to be successful. That includes a commitment to the training and the subsequent assignments to gain invaluable experience. In fairness, it may simply be that the model just doesn’t work for some individuals. There are several inaccuracies in your review, along with some very unfair exaggeration, and it is troubling that some of the elements of the program have been represented in the manner outlined. Regardless, we approach every review with sincerity and respect. And I am genuinely sorry your experience left such a poor taste in your mouth. That has not been the experience of the others.
