Avantages

There is a healthy work-life balance. Management respects the important role family plays in your life. Room for growth - for those that want to work for it. Small Office - Located in a great place. Right off of Dell Diamond 401K Great Healthcare benefits. Excellent learning opportunities. You can succeed or fail by your own merit. Due to the nature of what we do, there is a steep learning curve, and it can get frustrating at times. A lot is expected from everyone, and there is never a lack of work to do. We have extremely talented people that I work with on a regular basis. I've worked with many different major corporations, as well as smaller businesses. Everyone here wears many hats, and we all work together to continue to grow the company.

Inconvénients

This is not a company that you can expect to come into, sit down, and just work through a ticket queue. Nothing is easy, but there is only one requirement. If you do not have work to complete, then find work to do, or reach out. The management style is specifically tailored to each employee as they learn and grow. We do not have time to micro-manage. If Micro-management is used, it is because every other option has been exhausted.

Avantages

Most fellows employees are great to work with, very knowledgeable and pleasant. The owners work non-stop to ensure success. I enjoyed the work I was doing and learned a lot about mobility expense management. Up and coming area in Round Rock without the traffic but good restaurants nearby. The owner was very understanding of work life balance.

Inconvénients

My manager talked down to several employees, including me. He had formal complaints against him previously as well. Very condescending, elitist attitude. He would talk bad to me about every person in the office including the owner. He told me personal information about the owner's divorce and about other employees in the office (which means he was surely bad mouthing me to others). When I made it clear I didn't want to be a part of the conversations about people i was forming professional relationships with, his attitude toward me quickly turned catty. The micromanaging was insane. He would come into my office ten to twenty times a day for one thing or another. Then set up a morning and afternoon meeting every single day, in addition to coming in the office multiple times a day. He would tell me to do my job one way one day, then deny it or tell me another way another day. I was never given any negative feedback about my work, never given a warning, written or verbal. But when I started interviewing for other positions because of the micromanagement, I was fired with no warning or notice. I was given no reason other than I didn't seem engaged. I probably would have enjoyed the job much more if I didn't have the manager I had. Though the employee that had my position before me that no longer had him as a manager was also applying for other jobs, so maybe not.
