      Avantages

      Surrounded by like minded individuals who want to make a difference. Assistant and associate level staff are very passionate and eager

      Inconvénients

      Toxic work environment. Isolating with little space available for office camaraderie. Shockingly low pay. Employee handbook literally has limits on number and length of bathroom breaks that can be taken in a day. Everything is communicated through passive aggression. Upper management is out of touch and unopen to changes. Young and new staff are seen as expendable, treated with little respect, and given little freedom or responsibility.

      Avantages

      Learned lots of great new skills that can be applied in future jobs. The people are nice and it was a great opportunity. The team was always willing to answer questions and offer advice.

      Inconvénients

      A lot of solo work, but had great guidance from my supervisors.

      Avantages

      Learned lots about the UPR system and other human rights issues. Everyone was talented and kind.

      Inconvénients

      The internship was unpaid which I hope has changed.
