Coworkers are great, you get to work in a big, old hotel on the green belt.
Inconvénients
This is specifically about the front desk- I have worked a lot of jobs but this was by far the most stressful and least forgiving. It is normal to have a line of people out the door waiting to check in. Guests are SO RUDE. They have no problem berating you and cursing at you when they are dissatisfied with something that has nothing to do with you. And they are often dissatisfied. There is little to no support from management when this happens.
You are also subjected to awful music from Bar 365. They will only cater to the tastes of their 75+ guests and so it is rare to hear any good music from that stage. You will have to check in angry customers while very loud, and not very good music is being played from bar 365. And if you ask the musician to turn down their speakers, they will more often than not become annoyed and short with you.
