      Avantages

      I loved working at Tidal Wave and was able to gain knowledge in sales while selling car memberships. This was a low-stress way to learn how to sell things while also making extra commission on my paychecks. If you care about the position and try your best on the job, there were opportunities for advancement through becoming shift lead and relocating to other sites for management positions.

      Inconvénients

      Working outside in sometimes extreme weather conditions was really the only downside to this job. However, this would be a part of every car wash position.

      Avantages

      Work outside in small teams. Decent 401k match. Customers are mostly cool.

      Inconvénients

      Hard-selling is the name of the game in the carwash business, you get punished if your sales ratio is low. Insurance is incredibly expensive. Profit Share does not exist unless you are an extremely busy location. Financial data does not show true profitability. Micro-management to the extreme--such that there are more than a dozen different metrics to be evaluated on. Minimum of 4 audits per month. The pay structure is confusing to say the least. The vacation redemption is very restrictive. There is no upward mobility at all. Stay away unless you want to be a mechanic full time. They penalize you monetarily if you make an error on a damage claim or call for help on repairs, so you best do it yourself. Oh, and you also have to be your own landscaper or it costs you.
