Avantages
The people I work with are family. That has always been true. That is what keeps not just me, but everyone I work with coming into the office day after day.
Inconvénients
The list of negatives is inexhaustible. No raises, no opportunities, no development paths, and management that doesn't have a clue how to value or keep valuable employees. Upper management seems to be doing the bare minimum to keep the company together long enough for them to retire, but a vision beyond that is lacking and has been lacking for years. There is a certain arrogance at the higher levels of management. They think lip service is enough to keep their most valued employees. This frustration is a common topic of conversation at my level. Whether in Texas or California or Europe, the high performers are all saying the same thing and are wondering when they will be valued and not taken for granted. We are all still waiting...
