Avantages
My specific team/programme is great to work with, esp. my team leader, but also the senior leadership in London. Professional services, London campus based colleagues are also a nice team.
Inconvénients
University-wide leadership (based in Scotland) is horrid and clearly uninterested in academic development, what they want is revenue and that reflects on how little they care about both academic and professional services personnel. Workloads are heavy and time allocation for research is laughable. Their standard for admitting postgrads in our programme is simply if the student can pay. Academic background does not matter, nor their language skills. Clearly, the vast majority of students go use the university as a stepping stone to migrate to the UK, not dor a genuine interest 8m learning.
