Being encouraged to hire new employees at higher levels and salary than more qualified, existing employees - because "otherwise, we might not sign them..." Watching executive staff keep large bonuses and rewards, while the rest of the company has theirs cut. Acquisition after acquisition that fails to be integrated - but results in more noise and chaos Many talented staff have left. Many remaining are just riding things out, doing the minimum to collect a salary - and, even as a manager, hard to blame them as trying to be more motivated and passionate isn't rewarded or supported.
