The product being fairly complex because of its scale offers a lot of challenging problems to solve. So there is a lot to learn for an engineer in the entire process. Work-life balance, work timings, enough ways to relax are a few really good things they offer.
Inconvénients
Loosing focus of what they want to build. Release management is becoming poor because of poor planning. Engineering has focus on shipping things but not building the best of things. As a team, engineering at Wingify is very good but it lacks technical skills. Striving for technical skills and improving is very important. As a company, they do not invest in people to make them bigger. They invest in people who are just going to work. Perhaps that's also because of the nature of the company that they are massively profitable and they are comfortable with it. But then the owners have all the incentive to run it for themselves. They should go full throttle for growth and invest in individuals. Things like a play station or table tennis table is good but its very materialistic. Its important for the company to give ownership and make people grow. Give them more opportunities. Make them strive for excelling at individual levels. That's when you would be making a larger difference in their lives.
