Avantages
The faculty and staff are intellectually courageous, supportive of colleagues and students, dedicated and often doing brilliant work in extremely difficult conditions. Best colleagues ever. Some of the students are very strong, studious, and dedicated (and they should go to a different university).
Inconvénients
The administration doesn't care about faculty and staff. Mysterious, nonsensical decisions are announced at the last minute, compliance mandatory. Employment can be terminated at any time. It's not clear that they care about students, either. The students are mostly charming, sweet, and willing, but they lack the necessary preparation to be in university. Teaching here is mainly remedial. Students cheat and plagiarize constantly.
