Avantages
- Interesting, high-scale product problems with real impact - Talented and generally friendly colleagues - Opportunity to work on global systems and multi-market challenges - Good brand and learning exposure
Inconvénients
- Team-level organisation was weak, with unclear processes and inconsistent ways of working. Poor calendar management, lots of out-of-hours calls as the norm (lots of work in Seattle timezone) - Limited leadership and direction within the immediate team, especially as it scaled across time zones - Expectations were high but not always aligned with how the team operated day-to-day - Low psychological safety made it harder to ask questions, learn, or challenge decisions. Other great employees fired without explanation. - Onboarding and standard company practices were not consistently followed
