Avantages

It's a good environment to learn and grow. An innovative company that encourages growth and ideas from team members. Also comes with perks like performance pay and bonuses when appraisal and KPI are good.

Inconvénients

But it's hard to get a good appraisal. Their appraisal system isn't so good and fair. Hence hard to get those bonuses. It mostly seems like those indicators are meant to reduce the opportunity to get an increase in salary or performance pay after appraisals

Inconvénients

Their goal is not to pay their staff, hence why they pay per scope of work, which is loaded with tasks that are unachievable with the number of hours allocated. They also include blockers that will prevent you from getting paid, ie not onboarding properly and timely, giving the wrong dataset to work with, then coming back to say it's a mistake, so you have to start the work from scratch. This leads to a toxic environment because no one wants to go out of the way to collaborate with their colleague since its not tied to their scope of work pay. There is also a non-chalancy in the environment without regards of how one person non-chalancy delays another person in giving their required output The scope of work takes eternity before it is sent to you to commence work, even though you are under their employment so in that moment just look for an alternative job because it can take as much as 5 months to get back to you after receiving your offer letter.
