Avantages
Great flexibility working for this company. You work from home, any hours you want, your lesson plans are supplied for you (with mixed results) so the commitment is up to you. The students are generally great to teach - really friendly and appreciative.
Inconvénients
The pay is terrible and deeply unfair - people are paid depending on what country they live in not experience. You are able to earn more if students rate you (they don't always) so effectively you're working for tips. Kids classes could include people anywhere from 6 years old to 18 years old, which is incredibly difficult to manage and even if you have a full class it's not guaranteed you'll get the loading because kids don't often leave reviews. IT problems are common and the response from IT support team is slow or non-existent. The company expects you to do short demonstration sessions with prospective clients - which pays even less than normal sessions - and there's no way to opt out of them. Communication with the company is difficult - I don't even know who my boss is.
