There are Situations, when newcomers(with less experience and knowledge) receive more than existing employees(with more experience and knowledge). But it could be, that in every company it is like that. One can grow in salary considerable when changing to another company. A 5+ Years Employee ==> and still working here, because in overall it is a nice company.
