Avantages

There is never a dull moment in the help desk department. The job is not repetitive and there is always new software and technology to learn.

Inconvénients

I would say working on weekends, but I have gotten used to it. If I worked during the week it would be night shift.

Avantages

The executive team is closely related to the business at all times and is highly approachable. Employees are autonomous in the field, allowing for high levels of growth and development, but deeply rooted in the success of serving the clients. Client environments are great to work in!

Inconvénients

Many growth opportunities require relocation to other cities.

You gain intimate knowledge of your client which may help steer career path.

Inconvénients

Management is so disconnected from employees and they have no idea what we do. They have no idea how unhappy employees are and how frequently discussions occur about this behind the scenes. No one even wants to know our level of happiness. We feel like we are owned and leased out as a commodity to our client and are not made to feel valued by the ones we make money for. Our clients treat us much better than our own employer does. Pay is embarrassing and really cheap. Expect no raises and no praises! Rare interactions/check up office visits feel superficial as they fail to connect with employees with any quality. High turn over because people learn quickly there are better choices to go to.
