Inconvénients
They've managed to lay off or push out any truly talented and creative people, so what's left are sycophants who's only value seems to be telling the CEO what he wants to hear. All the truth tellers are gone and what's left is mediocre at best and at worst, downright incompetent. The company is completely dependent on a single customer and all attempts to open new channels and markets have been complete failures, so the future of the company is quite questionable. Management provides all sorts of platitudes and brags about a corporate culture that simply doesn't exist. They pretend to have an "open door policy" but don't dare try to actually use it. You be trashed, humiliated, and, more than likely, eliminated in the next lay off. If you're a software engineer, there's absolutely no opportunity for career advancement but they'll provide all sorts of useless "fatherly" career guidance. If you work in customer support, or as they like to call it,, "Customer Success" you're on your own so don't expect any help from the development team in solving your customer issues. Instead, just blindly follow the leader and spout the company line.
